4 out of 5 stars Great for the price   November 13, 2006

I've only used the Striker in "combat" twice, but it has performed well. For the price you can't beat it. Good for those like me (a Dad) who needs to have something to use with his son. This marker gets the job done. It is a little louder that some of the others, but if you have them in your "sights", then just fire away. Speaking of sights, there really is none that I can tell. Just look down the barrel and aim as best you can. Fairly good accuracy and velocity. This one is good for a starter marker.

This gun has great accuracy and speed my brother has welt's from this gun I've won every round and I just started. The mask is great just wear a beanie or something so a paintball won't skim you're head. There's a cleaner to clean you're gun just pop it through you're place we're you put the hopper on and it will come through the muzzle (the most dangerous part of the gun never point it at someone) and pull it out. There's two tubes that hold 100 paintball's each (remember you're neck guard guys) though they were no use to me, but ,could to you, I guess? But if you are safe with you're paintball gun everything will be ok. So go have fun and be safe.

This is a great gun. Its my first and I love it. I recomend the Striker for begginers. I've heard its not the greatest for tournaments though.

4 out of 5 stars Good gun, dont really need the other stuff tho   January 26, 2006

This gun that comes with the kit is good value...fairly accurate, good rate of fire, nothing above ordinary really. It is kinda sad that you cant change barrels, but there really isnt a big need to. The game flag and the paintball canisters have come in handy in a few Capture-the flag-games, but the mask is crap. Sure it is anti-fog, but the material is really cheap, and it takes a while to break it in and get it adjusted and back in shape.

I would recommend this for people just starting off with paintball (dont forget to buy CO2!)

5 out of 5 stars this gun is freakin awesome!!!!!!!   January 16, 2006

This gun is beautiful, just beautiful. It shoots like a pro. The cyclone feed system is ingenious and with the Smart Parts barrel this thing kills. I haven't broken a ball yet and it's dead accurate. I was hitting a 6 inch target at 60 feet (Diablo Midnight) and out of the 15 balls shot, all 15 hit one on top of the other. I've used all kinds of guns including high end electros but this thing just floats my boat. I play woodsball and this thing is just perfect for that. I love the fact that it's accurate and I can pump out balls fast with out a break. I used to hate how balls used to curve crazily and never go where you wanted them, but with this gun and barrel this thing hits dead on. The stock adds that extra stablization needed to get a good shot off and realisim. The two things that bug me about this gun is that when using the red-dot sight it's partially blocked due to the hopper but just get the micro cap and you'll be fine and if your using a 20oz tank it takes some getting used to because it's about the same length of the stock but a smaller tank will fix that. Other than that this gun is perfect. Some claim the cyclone feed is humongo compared to a regular hopper but they're realitively the same. Weight here is not an issue unless your a pansy. It weighs around 2 lbs give or take a little. If you can't carry around six pounds with a SLING that lessens the weight than I think you should just jump in front of a car right now. Quit complaining. 2lbs people, someone with no arms could lift that. Just make sure you sight in the red-dot and it would help if you got the micro cap or take the top part off an ammo pod. This gun deserves a 5 outta 5. No ball breaks, great accuracy, decent range, ultra durable, very reliable, and has a great feel to it. After my buddies played with it they all wanted it. They wanted to give up their 98's and Spyder's after about 5 seconds with my gun. Great gun, and if your still wondering if you should buy it, DO IT, you won't be sorry.
