A great buy July 12, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just purchased this trigger kit. I must say that i didnt relize how fast it made your gun shoot. It is absolutely amazing, the only downside is that i needed to purchase a new hopper to keep up with the gun (not such a bad thing though). Putting the trigger onto the gun is pretty easy except for a couple of things. You have to remove the braded hose from the internals of the gun. For me that was very difficult, mabye it was just an incedent with my gun, but i had to twist it so hard that i cut my hand, lol. Other than that it is a great buy if you want to make your tippmann a very fast shooting gun.
great mod incredibly easy to install March 20, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I added the response trigger to my 98 custom pro and it was incredibly easy to do. The custom pro alreadyhas the interior setup and exterior holes drilled so it was very easy to do. I would suggest using a dab of locktite at the exterior valve hole because it can wobble a very small amount
If you have an A-5 without this, you're wrong! October 2, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Folks, if you are considering buying a Tippmann A-5, please do yourself a favor and get the RT version, you'll thank me later. Although the RT increases your gas/shot ratio very slightly, your increase in rate of fire is more than worth it. Even if you're usually a one shot-one kill sort of guy like me, the ability to crank out 2, 3, 4 shot bursts, as well as full auto comes in real handy. What's better is that to do these shot modes, you don't have to change any settings on your computer board. Just take the gun out for a spin and find the "sweet spot" in the trigger pull, and the gun will do the work for you. When playing last weekend, people were scared silly when they heard the full auto report from my A-5, and they were even more scared by the fact that my flatline was sending balls right at them even when they thought they were safely out of range! The only thing I would suggest is to have your local pro shop, or Tippmann install the trigger for you. From what I've heard, it is too much of a headache to do yourself.
