Generally impressed by the reviews, I bought this in Oct 2007 for $19.50. I've brought it along hiking trips and it has lived up to expectations -- durable construction, easy to carry, and clear optics. My only complaint is that the strap does not thread through the scope easily. Overall, a very well-priced, useful scope.

Very small, comes with nice case and micro-fiber cleaning cloth, good for viewing details at distance, short focal length is very nice, but - useless in low-light conditions. Pre-war German or Swiss optics this is not.....
For the price, I can't complain.

this little gem is incredible for what you get for such a low price. I replaced another rei generic scope with this one and am glad I made the switch. i will continue to buy brunton products as they are built very well and are simple in design and to operate.

It's Jack Bauer's monocular...
Well, have on con, needed stay still to use it, and this is a little difficult to do, besides that, it's great monocular.

i spotted this on a 24 guide at amazon. This is very small, lightweight and very powerful. The detail is very clear. i am using it for camping and bird watching.
