Realistic Fishing August 9, 2001 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Both my wife and I enjoy playing this. Since we are not able to get out fishing as much, it brings a sense of realism to us. The use of the 3D makes it much more realistic. Now that we have it, it is hard to quit.
Totally Addictive! October 16, 2000 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I wasn't quite sure of myself when I purchased this game...after all, I had never even seen it in action. But I must say I'm very impressed! I love to fish, and this game is about as real as it gets. The graphics are great, the sound is great, and the fun factor is through the roof! The "easy" skill level allows you to land a fish just about anywhere, if you're looking for some quick excitement, but you can always crank up the difficulty to test your know-how. If you like to fish...this game is a whopper!
Not Bad April 7, 2000 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I am an avid salt water fisherman but thought I'd try the game after I downloaded the TB4 demo. After fishing with my son over our LAN (on the easy setting)we had several large bass to our credit. We enjoyed it so much that after what seemed to be about an hour, it was 3AM. One thing we didn't like is that even when you switch to the heaviest gear available, heavy rod and 40lb line, we still had 5 lb bass breaking the line. We still managed to land a few in the 13 lb range though, and it was a lot of fun,
Trophy Bass 3D January 23, 2000 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I fish quite a bit and was excited to try this game. Like most Sierra products it comes with good setup and gameplay intructions and is easy to install and start. The graphics are average compared to many other more action oriented games but the fish movement and lure movement is pretty good. The game has multiple levels of difficulty and a wide variety of different lakes to fish on. Overall it is quite fun to play. The online gaming option is pretty boring but might be fun if you were playing with a friend. I had problems with the game not saving my progress under tournement mode and still haven't gotten this part to work right...
