I have tried many, many flat balls, from the top of an oleo container when I was 2 months old, to my last two precious Jawz. I am going to be five years old this month and my two Jawz discs have lasted for three of them. I am getting two new ones for my birthday. I am an American White Shepherd, 90 lbs. and I work out with my discs every evening for half an hour before dinner. It only takes me twenty minutes to waste a tennis ball. It's not pretty. My Human solves the dog spit problem by always taking the disc from me with a towel.
Toughest Frisbee I've Owned July 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With our last cattle dog we replaced frisbees every month. Our new Aussie-Healer pup received a Hyperflite Jawz as a welcome home gift when she was 6 weeks old. It became a favorite chew toy and now is the only frisbee she will work with. After 7 months of hardcore puppy chewing, there are no breaks, scratches or dents. She carries it around bent in half and it still flies straight. To buy anything else is a waste of time and money.
The BEST DOG Frisbee out there! May 8, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We received our Hyperflite Jawz Dog Frisbee 2 months ago and have used it daily ever since. We have a yellow lab that is obsessed with retrieving frisbees. She loves to catch them in the air, so she is chomping down fairly hard. Although we discourage her from chewing on the frisbee, she does like to chomp on it when coming back to us. This frisbee has stood up to her hard mouth. We've tried other frisbees and within days, or even minutes, they have been destroyed or have cut her mouth. I highly recommend this product. I'd even say buy a few extra but you won't need them because this frisbee holds up so well.
Yellow Lab Delight March 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This disc is great for an active dog. Not only does it fly really well (helping to tire-out my energetic lab) but it REALLY holds-up to agressive catches and excessive chewing. There are literally dozens of frisbees in our garage, and our dog will seek this one out above the others. Despite being used several times a day, it has outlasted all the other "dog frisbees" in our arsenal...it is worth every penny. I only wish they made them in brighter colors so they are easier to find in tall grass.
Well worth the price!!!!!!! March 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fist off, this is the only review that I have ever written for any product. I found this frisbee at a pet fair about four years ago. My husband and I bought it out of desperation since the normal half-life of any frisbee we gave to our border collie was about ten minutes. My dog has a disturbing compultion to rip up anything that we give her. The Jawz Frisbee now after four years is finnally on its last leg and trust me, it held up incredably! Every time that my dog goes outside she looks for it as some sort of safty blanket and spends the first five minutes just chewing on it. It has been kept outside the entire time and is subject to all of the elements. After all this time with day-in/day-out abuse that only could be seen to believe, it is fair to say that we got our money's worth. The only thing that has outlasted it is an old Kong that is her inside toy. I've also been searching for it since Chrismas and this is the only place that I have found it. If your dog goes through toys like mine, you will be glad you bought this frisbee.
