5 out of 5 stars A Winner   October 6, 2008

We have a 1000 foot dock and my old trike had to be retired. Salt water/salt air does its damage. This Schwinn adult tricycle is such a better quality than my old bike at a VERY reasonable price with free delivery. The basket is huge, too and would even carry a 48 quart cooler. It is so sturdy. Yes, you have to put it together but it is worth the effort. It arrived so quickly!

This bike is extremely easy rolling and pedaling. With just one speed I average 7 to 8 mph. It is comfortable and has an extermely large basket to carry shopping. I am very impressed. Unfortunately the assembly instruction are almost nonexestant. Luckly I have been in maintanence all my life so was able to cope. All in all I would be glad to recomend this bike to anyone.

The bike arrived in an undamaged container, the UPS man saying, this is really in good shape for as heavy as it is (less than 70lbs. including the box) I opened it immediately and begun assembly. 2 hours and 28 minutes later it was assembled. There were no missing parts and assembly was a breeze. It was necessary to use a piece of 2X4 and a hammer to get the rear end part of the chassis (frame)aligned and connected to the front part. A test ride found the bike quite comfortable to sit on and very easy to peddle, even up a slight grade. After a slight adjustment to the rear hand brake, on a second test run, the rear chain master link popped open and the chain came off. After a little research on the net, I found this type of master link is notorious for coming apart. A upgrade for the master link was bought and installed ($2.60) and all is well. A really fantastic bike for the unheard of low price.

Arrived promply within a few days. Box was in good shape, allparts were included. Easy to assemble with the instructions did include 3 wheeled segment, most was already put together cable etc. Quality bike rides fine, just what i expected. How did they get it all in a foot thick box?
