great product November 4, 2008 I bought this horn for my '74 Kawasaki KS 125 enduro motorcycle. I was having trouble finding an aftermarket horn for it and decided to try this one. It was really easy to attach and it's loud! I'm pretty sure it's louder that the horn that came on it originally. I was a little worried it would look funny on a motorcycle but it doesn't at all. You can barely tell it's there.
great for street riders October 28, 2008 The horn is indeed very loud as advertised. Now I am able to warn drivers that open their doors without taking a look into mirror... Installation is very easy. The only thing that I would like to be better is volume control: it is tiny and tight, impossible to adjust while riding the bike. Amazon service was great as always: Price was unbeatable and I got it pretty quickly. Would recommend to all bikers that have to share road with cars.
Awesome October 27, 2008 LOUD, LOUD, LOUD I have no other words to describe it. This is the best "ring bell" you can atach to your bike in order to be heard. Out there are a bunch of idiots that don't realize you are comming no mather you shout them or you are to close to them. With this, believe me they will go apart of the road.
May be it will be usefull with chasing animals like dogs, but i didn't try yet.
Very light product, you can atach it to your frame with the nylon straps and velcro closure provided or you can put it in the waterbottle cage. Is not disposable, only with a regular pump (Shrader valve) you recharge it every time you need it
Keep in it safe October 15, 2008 I have a recumbent trike, and I have to tell you, people in there car just don't see you very well or just don't pay attention when they are driving. But with this product, man! they sure get your attention, this little sucker is loud and I mean loud!!. The only problem this unit have is attaching it to the bike, is not as easy as they show in the instructions. Besides that this product is great and will suggest it to anybody who use there bicycle or recumbent for commuting around the traffic.
Great product you have here Delta and Thanks.
Where Are All the Parts?!? October 15, 2008 Sounds like an airhorn at a sporting event, loud but hard to take seriously. My package was delivered with all of the mounting brackets missing...was forced to go McGiver on it and make do with materials I had saved for just this magic moment! Could have returned it but who needs that kind of a hassle...too bad it couldn't have been inspected prior to shipment. The volume adjustment seems to be a little loose, but is absolutely necessary to prevent mischevious little hands from playing their own mini-symphonies while your ride is left unattended. Otherwise, it's a fine product that sure beats the ninja turtle horn alternatives.
