Quick install and it works great for a 5'2" mom! March 29, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My husband installed this seat on my bike and it took just 10 minutes or so. (It would have taken less time, but he first did a temporary install to see if I would be able to ride around comfortably with it on my bike.) I am very satisfied and so is my daughter. Since I am only 5'2", I was scared that the seat would be a bad fit for my bike. I was afraid I would have a hard time seeing over my 34" daughter's head with her helmet on, but I really didn't have any problems at all. I am totally satisfied and I am so glad that I was able to get a front mounted seat. The rear mounted seats just seemed so impersonal. I'm sure the view of the open road in front of us is WAY more interesting for her to look at than my back anyway. :)
iBert Bike Seat March 18, 2007 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
We bought the iBert seat after checking out all of the reviews. It is a great product--well designed and executed, but with one flaw that I haven't seen addressed. Look closely at the picture and notice how little space there is between the back of the iBert and the front of the bike seat. If you are accustomed to straddling the bike before taking off or after stopping, forget it. We ended up purchasing a funky curved seat post that moved the seat back a few inches just to get more clearance. It works fine, but added to the cost of the whole set up.

This product is fantastic..very easy to install on my mountain bike and my 11 month old son loves sitting in it ! Highly recommended ! Does not interfere with normal bike operation and it is wonderful to be able to speak to my son while riding the bike.
Best baby seat out there January 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
THis seat is exactly what I wanted. The baby is in front so I can see her and even have my arms around her. She can look around and see me, not just my back. It's perfectly comfortable for myself or my husband to ride around with her. Initially I thought I'd leave the baby driving to him because I was nervous but there's no reason to be with this seat. Worth the money for sure, it's actually on of the best baby products I've bought. THere are cheaper models out there but then your legs kind of need to bow out because the seat is in the way. Some people may not mind to get a cheaper seat but for me, this top of the line seat is perfect and worth every penny. It's very simple and sometimes less is more as is the case with this. My husband and myself and my 6 year old have already taken our baby on countless hours of fun rides because it's one of the only activites we can all do together. One added bonus is that the baby is always tired after a ride. (so are the rest of us!) THe whole family is enjoying this purchase tremendously so that makes this seat priceless.
Great Idea January 9, 2007 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
This seat is a wonderful alternative to the traditional pull behind or ride behind child carriers(we have both). My husband loves riding around the neighborhood with our 1 year old daughter on display, and of course she is beyond thrilled to ride up front with Daddy. That being said, I am a small person and this seat does not work for me. I am 5'3" and cannot even get on my bike with this seat in place. However, I believe that it is a worthy investment for our family in the Daddy/Daughter department...the smiles beaming from their faces says it all. BTW:When we want to do serious road or trail biking vs. neighborhood biking we use our pull behind child carrier.
