4 out of 5 stars a good thing after getting used to!   October 19, 2008
At first, I rated 1 for it because it felt so strange when riding on it. Your arms would feel strained, your shoulders too. But after the first one week or two, you will begin to love this product, because it do help you get rid of the numbness you used to feel after sessions of cycling on regular seats.
A shortcoming to some people who like to rest one or even no hands on their handlebar is that it's really difficult to balance the bike without two hands when using this seat. I hate this because I like using one hand for umbrella when it rains. Otherwise, good product.

3 out of 5 stars Perfect for Stationary Equipment   October 19, 2008
I needed to replace the original saddle of my second bicycle. My first bike was already fitted with an Ergo "The Seat" Ultimate Gel saddle and I wanted to see if I could better my riding experience even more. So this time I ordered the Schwinn No Pressure Seat.

This seat was very easy to install. After several trips around town, here are my thoughts:
1)It is definitely more comfortable that a traditional saddle. However it seemed I was always sliding off no matter what adjustments I made.
2)If looks and styling are important to you, look elsewhere. This seat seems to be more about practical comfort
3)For me, the Ergo Seat wins hands down in terms of styling and comfort (See my review on Amazon). I choose to get another one for my second bike. My kids love it too.

However the story does not end there. My dad recently complained that he could no longer exercise on his old stationary bike because the seat had become too uncomfortable for his aging butt. I dug the Schwinn seat out of the garage, installed on the stationary bike and it was perfect. Since there is no forward momentum on a stationery bike, the sliding off problem disappeared. Dad now spends a longer time on his bike exercising instead of moaning.

So I would give the Schwinn No Pressure seat full marks for use with stationary equipment. However, for darn good looks and functionality when riding on the road, try the Ergo Seat.

3 out of 5 stars It is what it claims to be   October 8, 2008
This seat is exactly as advertised, but I can't endorse it. The "no nose" seat was an experiment for me, and it failed. It may be my personal physiology, but the nose serves a vital function, the details of which will be left to the imagination of the reader.

1 out of 5 stars Didn't work for us   October 7, 2008
My husband bought one seat this past weekend and we were anxious to try it out. He put it on his bike and then I tried it on mine. We were very dissapointed. Evan with much adjusting...it felt like you were going to fall off the bike. It also was not comfortable on your back. It threw off your balance. At first glance the concept is a very good idea...but this is one that needs to go back to the drawing board.

3 out of 5 stars Not as viewed   September 21, 2008
The picture as seen by me, appears to be indented on both sides-in reality, it is not. It's not soft either- disappointed.
