We purchased the Coleman 2 burner stove with the grill, but were torn between the grill and a plain 2 burner model. We wanted to be able to cook pancakes etc. The griddle is perfect for this. Our main frustration was Coleman's lack of info about accesories, like the griddle, for the stove.

It fits well on the Coleman grill, it heats fairly evenly, (offsetting the hotspots found on most portable grills), and cleans easily. We've not had it long, but it appears to have a chance to be a durable product.
Effective for making pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, even made toast with it!
Next trip I'm going to try quesadillas, should work really well for those.

I bought a Coleman propane two burner grill stove. The one with the blue lid. The grill part of the stove is for barbecueing only. If you want to fry eggs or cook bacon, for example, you need to buy this griddle to use in place of the grill. It is custom made to fit this stove and it works great. I tried using a flat griddle from the kitchen on the stove and it didn't work well. So buy the griddle.

If you have one of Coleman's "Grill/Stoves" like the 9922 or similar model then it just makes "sense". You need one of these "griddle tops" to swap out for your "grate" when you want to make pancakes or eggs and bacon. "Bite the Bullet", "Get it".

This thing is pretty cool, only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is it has some hot spots near the flame which is to be expected I guess with thinner griddles. Does a great job, just keep stuff moving within reason.
