This gun is awesome im 14, so i have experience with airsoft and this gun has definetly proved to me that cheap airsoft guns can be good. The sucks but everybody knows that, i accediently(sp?) broke my battery connector but i fixed it so it's cool. but i can't find the exact battery anywhere.

this is a really good gun. the only problem with it is the disability to load the bb's. if you use full auto then you're set. if you use semi auto then you arent. every other bb will fire nicely. you have to shoot one int the chamber then fire the next one immediately to propel the first out of the gun. granted it will come out twice as fast but still it's a hassle. not something you can worry about on a battlefield. if you get this gun you need the hi cap mag with it. you need to be able to fire in bursts. i will hand it to the makers that they made a gun with one hell of a racket. this gun unloads extremely fast. it's like the bb's tailgate eachother. since the design is that of a bullpup, the accuracy is fairly reasonable. carbine sized gun but with sniper like accuracy is the bullpup design. this gun pull it off well. 3 out of 5. kudos to you blue elephant.

Great-looking weapon with good heft, a non-functional but bad-@$$ scope, and the spring-action cocking lever for additional realism!!! Great stuff!!!

I bought this Steyr AUG by Both Elephant airsoft rifle from another site and i must say it has given me nothing but frustration. I guess i am happy that some people enjoyed it. It only shoots .12 gram bbs at terrible accuracy from 20 feet away. It can't even shoot .20 gram bbs more than about ten feet. It won't even break a sheet of paper from 20 feet away with .12 gram bbs. When i first fired the gun, the semi-automatic feature did absolutely nothing. The bbs, instead of being launched from the barrel like i expected, simply rolled out of the barrel. The only way it actually fires is if i hold the trigger in full-automatic; which is a waste of ammo.
My clip can hold no more than 30 rounds. The spring in my clip actually jammed once, preventing bbs from being loaded into the chamber. I unjammed the clip spring with a long looped wire and have had no problems since thankfully. One of the oddest things about this airsoft rifle is that the rifle will start to dry fire (indicating an empty clip) but upon taking the magazine out i find that two bbs haven't been loaded, spilling out and even getting temporarily stuck in the gun and make an audible rattling sound. This is more than likely because the clip's feed design doesn't reach far enough to put all the bbs in the chamber!!! WHY??? The only thing that is good about this airsoft rifle is its looks and its fire rate, which can burn through a thirty round clip VERY fast (which is totally cool for looks) but leave you empty handed in a battle. The AUG has a very pleasing design, but this airsoft rifle will give you nothing but frustration. Im not even sure if a beginner will like this rifle. I hope this reveiw helps you.

This gun is just amazing. compared to other cheap(<30$)AEG's it is top of the line in power, strength and accuracy.the only reason this gun is not the best cheap AEG is because it lacks quality. The plastic is cheap, the foregrip is VERY flimsY, and the gearbox isn't sturdy. The gun that i bought broke in several days due to gearbox failure(the teeth will eventually grind themselves out-all plastic gearboxes can experience this, especially ones with a higher voltage battery-this gun has a whopping 9.6v battery). This gun's purpose to me was teaching the Value of a metal gearbox, which don't grind,and deliver more power and accuracy.

-Avg FPS(Chronographed)-240 w/ .12g Bb's
-Rate Of Fire- 500-600rpm * (almost 10/s)
-Magazine Cap- 40-50 depending on speed loader(40 with loader supplied)
*Note- Makes quite a thunderous boom on each shot. Intimidating
