I have worn Gold Toe over the calf NYLON for about 40+ years and nothing comes close. They feel like silk and really stay up. Try finding 100% nylon anywhere, instead most sox are now cotton blends. Let's have a little choice around here. Being nylon, they do last a long time.

What can you say? These are Gold Toe socks, always well made and comfortable.

I travel a lot and find these socks to be low maintenance and since I'm on my feet a long time each day, really enjoy their support. I wore them overseas while deployed with the USAF to two fast moving locations, and they held up in an outstanding manner in field launderies and for over six months of hard daily wear in high top boots. I also wear them with dress clothes too, so they suit a variety of my needs.

Once a year, I buy a pair of these socks for every day of the week for my husband. He throws the old pairs away (no matter what condition they are in) and I replace them with fresh. He wears them every single day. They stay up and match everything. It makes doing laundry a breeze!

Excellent for the price. Have purchased expensive over-the-calf socks and been quickly disappointed. These are comfortable, well-fitting, and seem to have a long life.
