 Great Gift and Safer for Kids than the Razor January 20, 2008
Love this scooter. Had one of these type scooters when I was a little Kid and loved the fact that you can jump ramps and ride off of curbs without breaking bones. When I seen this online, I had to order 2 of them for my 6 and 8 year old boys. They have been riding these almost everyday since christmas morning. Unlike a razor scooter, when you hit a little pebble or a a crack in the sidewalk, this thing keeps going. Very easy to put together. Only problem I had was with the break system, wich still isnt right, but works ok for now. I would say if there was anything I would like to be different, is that the break system be put together before it is shipped. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars.
Great Scooter - Lots of Assembly Required January 18, 2008
The scooter once you get it assembled is great. The only issue is the amount of assembly required. Needed a lot more tools than was listed too.

I bought this for My 5 year old son for his birthday. The handle bars are adjustable so it can grow with him. It takes a little practice getting used to the size. My 11 year old uses it too. It's great for the money. Seems like it would cost much more.
Great transition for 6 year old January 14, 2008
This is perfect for our 6 year old son. He's too small for the next size bicycle. It was delivered on Christmas Eve which was great, and it was very easily assembled. There were a few scratches from the box being broken open during delivery, but the unit is solid overall.
Great scooter January 12, 2008
My 7 yr old daughter got this for Christmas. She had refused to learn to ride a bicycle because she fell and hurt herself. She had a 4 wheeled scooter but had outgrown it so we decided to meet in the middle. This scooter is the best of both worlds. She had trouble balancing the first day, but by day 2 she was riding for long distances. The brakes are very easy to work and the scooter was easy to assemble. All I had to do was attach the wheels, handlebars, and brake cables. No problem. After gaining confidence on the scooter she decided to try and ride her bicycle on her own the other day. After only 2 days she can now ride her bicycle with no problems. She now has 2 options when she wants to ride. The best of both worlds. I would recommend this scooter to anyone who is looking for a starting off point for their child learning to ride a bicycle. All they need is a little confidence.
