It's a paintball pod. It does the same job as the $1-2 ones you see at Wally World.
Why buy this particular one?
The only thing that separates this from the rest is that this pod has a lock lid... which is great when you go through the expensive and painful experience of having a tube open up on you at the wrong time, especially with inverted harnesses (that deliver pods downward). It's an idea of genius... and it's a wonder why no one else has thought of it.
Basically, the pod won't open unless you slide a thumb or finger over the switch, which then the lid will pop open.
The bad thing about this pod is that you're paying quite a bit for a pod. $4-5 per pod gets rather expensive, especially if you're playing woodsball and you have the tendency to drop a clear, smoke Dye pod on the forest floor.
Yeah...
Snag these if you've got the money. In many ways, the lock lid is worth it. Otherwise, you can live without 'em. =)
