Best addition to my digital camera!! January 3, 2005

When I purchased my first digital camera 3 years ago, I never thought it could go through batteries as quickly as it did so I never thought about buying rechargables. Besides, my rechargable history had not been a good one. Very expensive batteries, charger only worked when it wanted to work.
I did quite a bit of research when I purchased my newest digital camera and batteries 6 months ago. The PowerEX batteries and chargers were reviewed quite highly and tested to be long lasting. The price was decent and much lower than I had paid 3 years ago for other rechargables. I figured that I didn't have too much to lose.
Well, six months later I am getting ready to buy more batteries for other items in the house. There were times that I loaded my fully charged batteries in my camera and took over 1000 flash pictures and still had a great charge on the batteries. They hold their charge for weeks and can be charged quickly if needed.
My son uses these in his game cube wireless controlers and gets days worth of playing time from them before needing a charge.
These are inexpensive, ship very quickly, and are a deal for twice the price. I can't imagine having to lug around regular batteries in my camera case ever again. And with PowerEX batteries, I won't have to.
