| Customer Reviews:
Back spin is fun July 9, 2008 I ordered this item because I had a friend who also plays paintball who swears by it.
The basic premise behind this barrel is that you use a switch to control how much back spin is added, and the end of the barrel itself can rotate. This is the genius part as you can add back spin in any direction.
Backspin up for longer range, back spin all the way and up for the "drop" effect they advertise, and left or right for the curving effect.
The product itself does not come with instructions so you will be forced to discover what to do by walking in the target while playing with the barrel, luckily, it is relatively easy to figure out.
I throughly enjoyed using this product, however, I play a great deal of close quarters combat, and I found that I generally didn't have enough room to actually make use of the curve shot.
Also, for those of you out there with Tippman X-7s, they share the same barrel threading as the A-5s so this will work on your marker.
Apex March 31, 2008 Apex gives you more distance and ball doesn't drop. Easy to install only negative it does come with instructions on how to adjust the settings. You have to get a feel for it while you're shooting some paint.
