Paintball is a lot of fun, but it is also important to be safe. Steel Braid hose is much less likely to burst than macroline and is rated to more than double the working pressure of macro. Plus, by hardlining your setup, you are less likely to get the leaks associated with macroline. Note: When measuring for the length of Macroline, please measure the length between your bottomline and regulator and then add 1". For example, if you measure 4 inches between your bottomline and regulator then you will need a 5 inch piece of Steel Braid.
