Product Description Coldone Knee Wraps provide quick and efficient pain and swelling relief for critical injury or reoccuring injury.Doctors and trainers recommend 15-20 minutes of cold at a time then 20 minutes without cold, repeated several times a day and constant compression to reduce swelling.Professional athletes played an important role in the development of the Coldone refreezable compression knee wrap, helping design a product that would deliver cold therapy where it needs to be. Our "no hole" design drives cold deep at all areas of the kneecap. Our knee wrap also provides compression even when unfrozen.Coldone wraps are constructed with an outer layer of nitrogen blown neoprene, a middle layer of refreezable gels, and an inner layer of rubberized linen. The wrap provides 20 minutes of cold/ice therapy plus compression to reduce swelling and pain from injury or reoccuring injury. MD and trainer recommended therapy. Can be used against skin or over clothing. No messy ice or condensation.

| Customer Reviews:
High-quality manufacture, but uses wrong freezing material September 28, 2008 I am impressed with the quality of how these things are made, BUT I don't understand why they used water to fill out the compartments on the inside of the wrap.
The problem with water is that it freezes solid and becomes hard as rock, and this is not something you want to be putting on your knee, especially if you are suffering from Patello-Femoral Syndrome like me.
The wrap does have a "hole" where the knee cap is supposed to go, but it's not big enough.
So what I am saying is that, if they just used ice gel - the kind which is still soft even when frozen, this would have been a fantastic product and I would have given it five stars.
The other point about this: if these wraps were filled with gel, one would be able to get up and walk around with the wraps on. But as it is, it is too painful to walk with them if you tie them tight (which you are supposed to, according to the manufacturer's instructions).
But without the soft gell, frankly this product was useless to me - until I discovered that I can't return it, and then had to improvise.
So I bought a pair of soft ice gel packs, and I insert them between the knee wrap and my knee after tying the knee wraps loosely around my knees. It's not perfect, but it does the job.
On the topic of not being able to return the Knee Ice Wraps, I made the mistake of buying them from "IceWraps". If I had bought them from the manufacturer, ColdOne, they have a 30-day money-back guarantee, and I would have been able to return them. Live and learn. Or learn from other people's mistakes, in this case mine.
