If you have pain in your foot caused techically by plantar fasciatis that extends to the muscles on the side and top of your foot, this support is blessing. You can sleep with it on and it keeps your foot from curling up, and hurting like hell when you get out of bed in the morning. it supports your foots when walking on cobblestone areas like the streets of Rome, so that you don't step down on it wrong and sprain your muscles in your arch and ankle. I an ordering another one so that I have one to wear while I launder the first.

Insufficient support. Helps a little, but not enough tension over a large enough area in the arch to help much.
