4 out of 5 stars extra cushion   September 19, 2008
As always, the wrist straps are super supportive. Its great for those heavy curls when my wrist tendons seem too be really stressed. As far as the paw, these have the most cushion I have ever experienced. That makes it great for heavy bench, weighted dips, big curls, etc . . . However, it makes it a little more difficult to do pull-ups. Over time, it seems to have softened up and also appears to have beefed-up my grip strength. All-in-all, great gloves. I would recommend them to any heavy lifter!

3 out of 5 stars harbinger big grip wrist wrap gloves   September 9, 2008
The gloves make for nice wrist support. The plastic palm pads don't provide much of a 'grip' as the product name would have you believe. The gloves were a little stiff, but they were fine once I broke them in after a couple of weeks of use. But I must say the grip is just not there. I wanted something to give me a little better grip and more palm padding than the Harbinger Wrist Wrap Classic, but the 'Big Grip' gloves were not the answer. I'll continue to use them, but when the wear out, I'll be going back to the Classic.

4 out of 5 stars Good workout gloves..   August 13, 2008
Harbringer has very good products for working out with heavy weights and equipment. the only con I have against this particular pair of gloves is the padding between the thumb and the index finger. It kinda mashes down on the webbing and is uncomfortable after lifting heavy amounts of weight. but other than that the wrist wrap is very helpful and the material is very durable...

4 out of 5 stars Great for people with large hands   June 10, 2008

I always had problems with my fingertips digging into my palms when doing pullups and curls. With the extra padding, it's no longer a problem. My palms measure 9" and I use the XL. The fit is perfect. It's difficult to remove after a workout if you try pulling from the base (palm area) but if you tug on the fingers it comes off with relative ease. The multiple ventilation ports keep my hands from getting too sweaty. I have a wrist injury that I'm recuperating from and the wrist strap keeps me from re-injuring it. The longer fingers means fewer germs getting on my hands from the equipment. The extra grip feels great during pullups and I can do more with less fatigue - plus, a larger grip develops greater grip strength. I wouldn't recommend this for people with smaller hands unless they don't mind having a break-in period to adjust to the larger grip. Also, some of the rubber on the pads of the finger might cut into your finger a little when you wrap your hand. I had to adjust the fit slightly and it's no longer a problem. There's a bit of a funky leather smell but I'm assuming it will dissipate over time and washings.

4 out of 5 stars Very durable gloves   May 20, 2008
These are great gloves for really heavy lifters. I would buy them again. One downer is that the rubber pads on the fingers don't quite allow for your grip to be closed far enough. I'm a size large and these fit great, but they do pinch my index fingers with curls and pull ups. I thought they would break in, but it's the design of the pads. Other than that, I really do like them.
