Nice board, good value, Worthless hook August 7, 2008
Just bought - great looking, good value. I'm a newbie and wanted a board I could grow with. One big downside is the worthless "hook" they tout as a feature. Practically speaking it has zero functionality. Most people would assume this would serve some purpose in holding the tow rope in place. It does not. It has no lip to hold the tow rope or anything else. I had to custom cut and route a poly acrylic replacement for the cheap piece of plastic they ship it with. My piece now fits better, looks nicer, and has enough of a lip to serve its intended purpose. Fortunately, this can be done, as what comes with it can be unscrewed and replaced. I would have rated a 5 if not for this. Made in, say it with me, China.
