This towel works great for what it is intended. It will definately dry you off after swimming or a shower and it's compact. You can't wrap it around you like a regular towel but if you're using it at the pool or gym for showering, usually the dressing room is right there, yes? Big enough to cover the naughty bits at least.

This makes a really good gym towel, it's about the right size although not big enough for a shower towel.
Very absorbent, but it doesn't slide against your skin very readily, so you need to get used to kind of blotting the sweat rather than wiping it.

This towel is the size that it's advertised and works fine to towel off quickly when getting out of the pool.

The aqua towel are both efficient and durable. They do dry as promised and are the right size. Not a beach towel, but very handy when you come from the pool or shower.

This is not a beach towel by any means, it's got a couple of inches on a hand towel. It does much better when you throw it in with your wet swimsuit in a bag than a regular towel, though.
