Happy Surprise March 15, 2008 Bought because of the price, it was on sale, so I didnt expect much of it. Went to Canada on a skiing trip with some friends and after the first day using it, had a happy surprise.
It has insulation, a very light one, but despites that I was never too cold, never too hot and used only one layer underneath. Most important to me was the fact that it's hard to get wet(really waterproof), keept me dry.
The side waist adjustments really helps on the confort, so does the bottom hem zippers. Lots of pocket also included...goods for holding keys, wallets or whatever you take with you when go skiing.
Great Buy
Great February 13, 2008 I like this pants. It keeps me dry through all day of snowboarding. It's not insulated so I wear it with thermal pants underneath. The only negative comment I have is that accessing my wallet on the pocket is a little difficult since the pant fits me just right, that it didn't allow for much wiggle room around the waist and hip area. Or could it just be because my wallet is too thick? But that shouldn't really stop you from purchasing this pants.
very good pants for going to ski, good quality/price ratio January 27, 2008 they are good keeping moisture out, but one need an extra layer under to keep warm in. but they do their job, insulating from cold moisture when if it's raining or wet snowing. wrong spelling in the title- I believe "forrunner" instead of "forfunner" would be more appropriate.
Pleasantly surprised January 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was very happy with these snow pants. I wanted something for occasional skiing and for playing in the yard with my kids. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I also wasn't willing to buy a pair of those cheap puffy pants you can get for $30. These Columbia pants were the perfect compromise. They are nice and lightweight, sleek and waterproof. If I need to wear them in extreme cold conditions, I'll layer underneath.
Great Pants January 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great pair of pants if you want to stay dry. The one con is that they are not insulated. It has a light lining on the inside. But for the price and all the other features it has. I think it is worth it.
