Product Description The Hottest Helicopter in R/C is also the smallest! It s the Airhogs Havoc from Spinmaster!!! The Spinmaster Havoc Infrared Helicopter is a Ready to Fly Helicopter that is a thrill for both kids and adults. Very simple to fly, so that you will be a proficient pilot in short time. Just add batteries, and prepare for successful flying. Once you gain confidence, Spinmaster has included weights to be added to the nose so the helicopter flies forward at a faster speed. This will continue to challenge your flying skills. The Havoc is a great entry into the wonderful world of helicopters. Amazon.com Product Description With the world's record for the smallest remote-controlled helicopter, the Air Hogs Havoc Heli goes where no other flying object can. Recommended for ages eight and up, this incredible little R/C heli from Spinmaster is easy and fun for kids of all ages -- even grown up ones. Realistic Helicopter Fun The Havoc Heli has twin rotors for stability and four-way control for flying in any direction with accuracy -- up, down, under, over, left, right, forward and backward. Like a real helicopter, the Havoc can hover in one spot. It even manuevers through the toughest of obstacles. Intended for indoor use, the helicopter operates outdoors with zero wind conditions, and can fly up to 100 feet high in the air. The Havoc Heli is also equipped with a flashing blue LED light for night flying. Friendly competition Not just for flying solo, the Havoc Heli is designed for fun with your friends. With three selectable frequencies, up to three Air Hogs helicopters can fly in the same room at the same time. Beyond flying for fun, the hook attachment on the bottom of the helicopter picks up objects for top secret racing missions -- with or againsts friends. Tough, Tiny, And Ready To Fly Measuring six inches long and weighing only ten grams, the Havoc fits in the palm of a hand. Extraordinarily lightweight, the helicopter is built for crash resistance with a flexible, high-impact EPP foam body. The internal battery offers twice the amount of flight time as other R/C helicopters. The remote control charges the rechargeable LIPO battery in 15 minutes, providing six minutes of flight time. The remote requires 6 "AA" batteries (not included). Available in yellow, blue, and red, the Havoc Heli comes completely assembled and ready to fly. Don't order two from Amazon October 6, 2008 They don't let you specify a frequency. I ordered two and they sent us two which use the same frequency. So my son and I can't fly them at the same time. I called customer service after receiving the order and they said they will send a replacement that uses a different frequency.
I have to agree with other reviews, the heli is hard to control and even after adjusting the trim it can fly fine and then spin uncontrollably for no apparent reason. Still, my 8 year old has fun flying it around and it is still pretty fun and we are working on getting the hang of flying it.
didnt stand beyond a week October 1, 2008 we loved this at first, but then it just didnt fly..what we think is it has some hair stuck in the wings..nothing we can see though..cud have been sturdier
Lots of fun for everyone!! September 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this cool little toy for our son's 10th birthday and he loved it. It's really easy to learn to control and all of us, myself, my son and my husband enjoyed it so much we went out and bought another. Even our dog got a kick out of this little heli. A really awesome gift for anyone of any age.
Nice little toy September 22, 2008 Nice little toy my 11 year old daughter was begging for. It worked great right away and took her about half hour before she could fly it nicely. One caveat is that it cannot fly outdoors during day time (infrared remote), so one needs a large empty indoor space. It's not 100% controllable, so small crashes cannot be avoided. So far (over a month) it's being holding up well (I had to use glue a few times) but overall it has been a lot of fun for the price. Battery life (5 to 6 minutes per 20 minute charge) is as advertised.
