Amazon.com Product Description The perfect skates for the first-time skater, the Raider II boys' junior skates offer unsurpassed support, an easy fit, and superb comfort. They also sport a deep blue coloring with desert camo accents along the frame and boot. The Raider II boasts an easy-pull lace system with a locking buckle and pushbutton adjustment, so it's simple to fine-tune the frame to fit different-sized feet.
K2's attention to detail extends from the skate's construction to camo accents on the frame and boot. | The Raider IIs are laceless, so there's no danger of sloppily tied laces getting caught in the wheels. The composite frame, meanwhile, holds up to frequent use, so you needn't worry about the skates falling apart after just a few months.. Add in a junior stability cuff that protects your child's ankles and smooth 70 mm wheels with ABEC 3 bearings and you have a great pair of skates for the budding skating freak in your family. The skates come in three sizes--small (J13-3), medium (3-6), and large (4-8)--and are backed by a one-year warranty. In 1994, K2 introduced the world's first Softboot skate, forever changing the way performance skates are designed and built. The proprietary Softboot design allows K2 to design skates the same way all high end athletic footwear is designed. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. About K2 In February of 1961 the first pair of fiberglass skis was produced by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner in their Vashon Island, Washington shop. The Kirschners, avid skiers, built fiberglass animal cages for medical use and were convinced that their process could build a ski that was lighter, stronger, and more lively than the wood and metal skis of the day. They really just wanted to build some cool skis for themselves and their friends. And the rest, as they say, is history. Much has changed since those early days on sleepy Vashon Island, but one thing has not: K2 is still a bunch of adrenaline junkies who just want to make some cool stuff for themselves and their friends. Today, K2 Inc. is a premier, branded consumer products company with a portfolio of leading brands including Shakespeare and Stearns for marine and outdoor products, Rawlings and Worth for team sports, K2 and Brass Eagle for action sports, and Marmot and Ex Officio for apparel and footwear. K2's diverse products includes fishing, water sports activities, baseball, softball, alpine skiing, snowboarding, and inline skating.

Size 4 to 8 is not 6 to 8 November 8, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered the size 4 to 8 and twice Amazon sent me the 6 to 8, which, of course is not the same and had to return. I lost my hopes to get the 4 to 8 from Amazon and going somewhere else.
Great skates March 29, 2008 These are really good skates. I will buy another pair if they go back on sale. I got mine for about 48 dollars and they were an excellent bargain for high quality skates.
Great skates! March 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These in-line skates were just what I was looking for. I bought both the girls and the boys version. They fit great, look great and appear to be very well made. I'm thrilled that they have an adjustable shoe size so that they will last for a few years. The kids love them!K2 Marlee Junior Girls' Skates
Incredible value! January 7, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was surprised how nice they were for the price. They are well constructed and a very smooth ride. The fact that they are adjustable is icing on the cake. Would recommend these to anyone.
