If you look at the picture for this item, you see some of them appear to be Lexan, the hard clear polycarbonate that's like a cross between glass and plastic that most people think of when they hear Nalgene. Others of the pictured bottles are an opaque milky white plastic. The one I got was the latter. It's okay as a bottle, I have no major complains about it, but I assumed when I was buying a Nalgene bottle, that automatically meant Lexan, so when I got this one I felt a little bit deceived.
The one I got is a slightly softer plastic, and I'm not quite sure that it's as safe to wash with very hot water, the way that a Lexan bottle would be. It also doesn't seem to be physically as tough.
