A fun, reliable marker so far January 8, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am somewhat new to paintball but I finally decided to spend some money and buy a good marker. Almost everyone you ask says that the A5 is a good marker so I took a gamble, spend my 250 dollars, and bought this thing.
First of all, this seller is pretty quick with their delivery.
Second of all, the marker itself. It feels 'real' and 'substantial' as opposed to cheap and plastic. Well, much of it is metal anyway. Contrary to people's complaints, it is NOT heavy -- it weights several pounds and if you're stronger than an average 10yr old girl, you should be fine.
The marker shoots pretty far and pretty straight. It hasn't jammed up on me yet, balls haven't broken, and nothing else failed. I play pretty rough which means that the marker is not really slammed around but pretty close to it. Mud, dirt, dust, paint - it worked through it all.
Now, I'm sure you can find ways to break it and jam it, but in a course of a normal game, this marker will give you hours and hours of a great time with your friends.
