Customer Reviews:
Great Value on Super Binoculars! January 11, 2007 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I did extensive research before I purchased a Canon 7x42A binocular. I checked out all the top brands, including Leitz and Steiner, but settled on the Canon due to it's very bright image (via a large exit pupil) and it's reputation for excellent optics. I was not disappointed by the Canon's performance. Images are tack sharp, with great brightness and good contrast. Sure, you can get equal performance from the aforementioned "big-name" brands, but you'd have to spend hundreds more. For the money, this binocular simply cannot be beat.
