Nike Bauer Vapor XXXX Ice Hockey Skates - The Nike/Bauer Vapor XXXX is the flagship skate in the Vapor line for 2007. Not just a new look - but the line has been improved. The thermoformed (ribs) which provide the support and structure to the boot have now been added to the rear area of the skate - forming an X - keeping the boot stiffer in the heel/ankle area. Fully heat-moldable, the Vapor skates now include an ergonomic plastic toecap. The XXXX also has a thicker ankle pad package for comfort and support. The XXXX includes a lightweight Tech Mesh quarter package, a hydrophobic Clarino liner, a molded tongue with a high-density metatarsal insert, a moisture-wicking footbed, a full-composite outsole and Tuuk Lightspeed2 stainless steel holder/runner.
