i'm hardly a youth at 28 yrs of age. however the youth XL rattler's made a perfect fit for my frame. i'm 5'11' and 140lbs woman. i play women's football in the NWFA. i found the extra sternum protection a huge asset in breast protection. i've worn other sizes and brands and these fit by far the best. and the price cannot be beaten!
