Nice Product for Casual Lifters September 30, 2008 This product has been a real helper in the gym. I am still working on forearm strength but don't want to have to stop all my other lifts because my forearms get tired. These allow me to continue my workout and get the most out of my lifting time.
These are sturdy, and comfortable and very easy to use. They are also a nice size for a smaller hand and wrist so would be great for many women lifters.
Please note that these should not be used if you are hoping to train for powerlifting as straps are not allowed in competition. However, if you are like me and are working to get your forearms up to par with the rest of your body, but don't want to have to sacrifice your workout, or if you are just a casual lifter and like the ease of straps, then these are perfect for you.

My husband works out with heavy weights and has been complaining about callouses on his palms. I suggested lifting gloves, but apparently they slip on the bar. We found these online and decided to give them a try.
Pros-Bar doesn't slip anymore. He can lift heavier weight
Cons-Instead of callouses on his palm, he now has them on his fingertips. The end that wraps around the bar is a little short and floppy.
Summary-We are going to keep shopping for something else!
