5 out of 5 stars Just a wonderful frisbee   September 24, 2008
I've just had a wonderful experience with this disk. It flies extremely well (very stable, easy to throw far, it seems to float in the air as it slows to descend). Still, it's light and very soft (much softer than the Jawz disks or even the Triple Crown Easy Glider- both of which I also like).

My Sheltie, who was trained on- and who has become quite an expert in catching- the cloth Soft Bite frisbee, has resisted my efforts to move to a non-cloth frisbee that flies much better. This, I think, is the perfect bridge between the two. Unlike any of the other new frisbees I've tried (see my Listmania list), my sheltie was excited to catch the Dogobie even on our first outing with the disk. I should add that my dog is not much of a chewer, so I can't comment on how well this will stand up to hard-core chewing- but this isn't a chew toy anyway. I don't see why it couldn't last for at least a year or two.

5 out of 5 stars Love it!!!!!   June 13, 2008
This is the second time I have ordered this Disc for my dog . He really loves playing Frisbee. I was having to buy a new plasic one about every other day. I tried some of the other so called tough frisbee's but for the price they really only lasted a little longer. My dog loves the Dogobie Disk it is easy to throw easy for him to catch and doesn't hurt his mouth and he can't tear it up. I just love it. I can't tell you how much I have saved by buying this disk. So if you have a dog that is hard on disks you need to get this one.

1 out of 5 stars Junk, but at least it's cheap.   May 12, 2008
This frisbee held up for 2 or 3 days of playing once a day with my dog, and keeping it locked away when not playing so she couldn't chew on it. The frisbee is thin and light, so once it gets damaged it just won't fly. At least the Kong frisbee (which she also managed to trash) would still fly for a while after it started getting chewed up. Really it's only redeeming quality is that it's cheap. But the Kong lasted me more than twice as long and was less than twice the price.

4 out of 5 stars Why buy anything else!!   April 18, 2008
I too do not see what the beef other reviewers have with this disc. Out of all other flying discs i have tried with my chocolate lab Shelby the Dogobie 1)lasts the longest 2)is safest on your dogs mouth, gums and teeth 3)flies quite far if you have any kind of adeptness at throwing any other type of flying object. i would not buy another brand.

2 out of 5 stars Dogobie vs Gummabone   October 23, 2007
As I stated in some other reviews, my dog loves frisbees. We have two ultimate 185g regular, one Gummabone, two "competition standards" + two competition training standards and one Dogobie.

We play with those a lot, if i let my dog to choose which one, She always take "Gummabone" and second favorite is "competition standard" and of course the old one "ultimate". I look around for the best one. For me it is Gummabone due the it floats on water (the other competitors usually not), it is flexible as Dogobie, but you can do same regular trick as with other (ultimate/cts/cs). Dogobie is for short/curved tricks and sometimes it is quite uncomfortable to make long straight fly of the disk.

My dog usually get bored with this one due the not so precise flying landing and wind usually cause disk to be not so areodynamic. We use it at home for short room throws.

So that's why i rate this product so low. There are more better, easier to throw disk designed for dog. Standards competition ones are for competition, so train with training one, it is more "soft" easier for dog's tooth to penetrate. Of course "plastic" always cause damage on gums, so the "textile" or "gummy" ones are usually more suitable for long trainnings and safe fun ;) Six year with my frisbee maniak and about 20 tested disk, teach me to choose the "competition" and "Gummabone" one.

Amazon offer all of them.

So finally it is up your dog.
