Product Description Where To Learn: The best place for training is a back deck, preferably made of wood, with a handrail. Wood is more friendly than concrete, and you'll need to hold onto the handrail while your leg muscles learn to react. If you don't have a back deck, try a baseball field with a chain-link fence. Pick a grassy area with solid, flat dirt and you can hold onto the fence. Does This Thing Have A Front And Back? Yes. The seat post clamp skewer (bolt/nut or quick-release handle) is on the back. The pedal marked "L" should be on your left, "R" on your right.

just one problem December 3, 2008 Everything seemed to be fine until my husband went to put the pedals on. The fittings were the wrong size and he had to go to a bike shop to buy the right pedals, making this not the best deal afterall. Another reviewer had the same problem. We are happy with unicycle, and it was shipped promptly.
good unicycle November 4, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We had to re-order as the initial order came with the wrong pedals, but the error was corrected in a timely manner and the second shipment was good. Using a unicycle is a challenge for my pre-teen; which is good!
Birthday Disaster November 2, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this unicycle as a birthday present for my son. It came just in time. The unicycle came unassembled without any instructions. Fine, I can get past that. However, when we tried to put the pedals on, we found the stem that screws into the assembly (on the pedals) was too small. The pedals did not fit! I took it over to a cycle shop in town-they had pedals that fit for $20.00! Rather than do that I ended up buying a unicycle locally and packing up the whole stupid thing and sending it back. Obviously, whoever made this thing is seriously lacking in the quality control department. I would reccommend you most certainly NOT buy this product.
Good little unicycle, great price! October 7, 2008 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Bought this unicycle for my 11 y.o. son. Had some trepidation in picking 20" vs 24" wheel. Glad we picked this size. He's tall but friends all recommended starting off on a 20". I now agree. We adjusted the seat as low as possible without the bar touching the wheel. Assembly was fairly easy, but no instructions were included. Be sure to note the left (L) and right (R) pedals and install them on correct sides. Otherwise they will twist off when riding. They screw onto crank arms. If you're short, you may need to hacksaw off some of the pipe the seat attaches to. We just managed with the shortest setting. Friends with unicycles suggested duct taping the seat for protection as the cycle falls a lot when a beginner is starting off. Seems a good quality cycle and a great beginner one. Would recommend to others. It took about 10 days for my son to learn. Helpful videos on learning to ride unicycle on uTube.
