Wald Training Wheels November 9, 2008 I did my search before I bought this set of wheels. Believe me, after reviewing wheels in the neighborhood of $80 to $120 dollars, I'm glad I decided for the Waldo's. They do the job they were designed to do and they perform well! For the price you can't ask for more.
Very Good Product! July 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these training wheels for 20 inch bicycle for my 8 year old daughter. Wheels and supporting brackets are excellent, very strong and durable. I am very happy.
Works, but hard fit. May 12, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These training wheels work great. I am using them for my 60 pound special needs son who just upgraded to a 20 inch bike. Here's the problem...I misread the item description. These training wheels will not fit a bike chainstay unless it is smaller than 1 inch. My son's bike was 1 inch exactly. Honestly, I don't know where a child's bike exists that has a chainstay less than 1 inch.
We were able to modify the training wheels by bending the lower prong outwards (making it useless). Doing this enabled us to fit the piece on the chainstay and kept the upper prong functional. To make sure the piece stayed secure to the bike we used tie straps. Worked like a charm!
Great set of wheels April 9, 2008 These training wheels are great! The wheels that came on my son's bike lasted about one month, but he's riding it a lot more with these new wheels. I highly recommend these for any size or age person.

Sold a new bike to middle-aged woman who had brain surgery and now had balance problem. She was determined to ride a bike with her husband and we found the only set of wheels that would fit a 26" bike. Made her very happy and is helping her confidence. While this lady was just under the weight limit for this item I had to adjust it a few times as it was straining under the weight when she was leaning to one side or the other. Either the weight limit is slightly exaggerated or it should max at 24". This product served the purpose in this case and owners understand the limitations but were happy with the product as it accomplished what she wanted and didn't have to resort to a trike.
