pant leg clip for biking husband January 6, 2009 I'm very pleased that my husbands pants are not as riddled with bike chain grease. These do the job well.

Lightweight, small and easy to transport and can be put on and taken off quick and easy. They are great!

I thought that metal bicycle pant clips no longer existed. I was using the velcro ones, and hated them. So I went to my favorite source for obscure items, Amazon (yeah, I like Amazon for non-obscure items, too). Bingo! There they were, the way I remember them from the 60's and 70's. So I ordered, got prompt delivery, and I'm really happy. These things grab the bottom of your pants way better than the velcro ones, you can put them on way faster, and remove them faster, and they don't feel like they are squeezing your legs the way the velcro does. If you ride a bicycle, and are sick of getting grease on your pant legs from the chain wheel, these are for you.

The items purchased were very hard to find. None were available in the tri-city area of Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley, Arizona. So, I searched the web and found the items which I purchased through Amazon. The price was right and the items were just what I remember from the 1940's before chain guards were installed on bicycles. Nowadays, there are no chain guards on bicycles as it seems that bicycle riders are expected to wear "spandex" clothing.
My wife and I both wear jeans or other "long pant legged" trousers, occasionally, when we ride in cooler weather.
So the items bought from Amazon are "5-star" with us.
