Amazon.com Product Description Sister to the popular HydroBak, the Charm hydration pack is a great choice for women looking for a better way to drink on the go. The Charm, which carries enough water for most one- to two-hour outings, offers such features as a women's-specific harness that curves comfortably around the body for a secure fit, a convenient Omega liquid reservoir that's accessible from the outside of the pack, a low-profile design that keeps the pack stable without interfering with bike helmets and other accessories, an air mesh harness with a Velvetex lining for ventilation and comfort, and reflective highlights that help you stay visible in low-light conditions. And thanks to the external zip pocket, there's plenty of space for your keys and other valuables in the pack. Also equipped with a secure Bungee cinch system to hold extra clothing, the Charm is backed by a two-year warranty (with a lifetime warranty on the Omega reservoir). About CamelBak CamelBak is the originator and world leader in hands-free hydration systems. The first CamelBak products proved to be very popular among mountain bikers and motocross riders, because it allowed them to drink without taking their hands off of the handlebars in technical terrain. The product began to cross over into other sports when scientific studies showed athletes drank more fluids and performed better when they wore a CamelBak. Since then, athletes from an ever-growing list of sports and activities use CamelBak hydration systems for their convenience and performance benefits. In addition to cycling, CamelBak has Hands-Free Hydration systems for hiking, running, snowboarding and skiing. CamelBak?s state-of-the-art packs and hydration systems have benefited athletes, outdoorsmen, and soldiers around the world. While CamelBak has grown tremendously since the early days, one thing hasn't changed: CamelBak still believes in the performance advantage that proper hydration delivers for just about any activity. The privately-held company is headquartered in Petaluma, California.

Excellent mid to long range hydration October 5, 2008 I purchased this with the intent of doing 10 milers and half marathons in summertime Iraq, and its capacity is perfect. My aim was to have something to sip, to avoid that dry mouthed feeling, without much weight or inconvenience.
There is minimal bouncing, if the straps are adjusted well, and I hook the tube into the webbing on the opposite strap to keep it from bobbing around. The lack of a smoother way to take care of the tube is the only reason I can't give it five stars.
It rides very comfortably; I haven't had any issues with chafing, and often forget I'm wearing it (after the first 3-4 miles, once things settle down).
I wouldn't bother with a pack for shorter runs, but this won't be big enough for longer ones if you're a guzzler. I still want a full bottle of water when I finish running. Also on size, the zippered pocket is outstanding for carrying a couple of ID/credit cards and a key, plus perhaps some chapstick or other small item, but nothing much larger.
I had some sloshing issues that were taken care of when I realized extra air needed to be squeezed/sucked out before running.
In short: love it!
Hydrate September 2, 2008 Nice! Great for a hot day for my wife when she had a hard time grabbing her water bottles on a long bike ride.
Great Fit July 29, 2008 I love the fit of the Camelbak Charm and I have very little bounce when running, even when the bladder is empty. I regularly use it on my runs. Anything over 6 miles though and I have to fill it up at least once...especially in when running in the desert heat. This can be annoying, but I plan my runs around where I know I'll be able to refill. Unfortunately it doesn't have nearly enough storage. I put my key and cellphone in the zippered pocket and keep my gels in my shorts pockets as that's about the only things that will fit in the Charm.
great jogging pack for women July 14, 2008 Looks nice, good size, comfortable & easy to drink out of. I run 3.5 miles every morning and I fill the pack up half way leaving room for my wallet, keys and phone.
Not impressed March 27, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is small, so it fits nicely against my back for trail running. However, the mouthpiece leaks. This is quite annoying. Doesn't hold much water, so only good for short trail runs. I wouldn't recommend.
