Great for the money July 16, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I think I got this item on sale for like $25+/-. This thing is a serious lock. It's a tad short, but it works for what I use it for. The lock comes with 5 keys, which is convenient (almost overkill). The lock - like any lock - sticks a little when repeatedly exposed to rain, but nothing a little WD-40 won't fix. Most OnGuard locks cost $50+ (I think...I haven't researched this stuff in a few months), but if you can get one for the price I paid, you won't look back. It's better than locking your bike up with a $6 lock just to get it stolen the week after, but it's not too over-the-top like a $75 lock for a $150 bike. I'm very happy with the purchase.
Nice chain and lock! May 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great Price, will work nicely. Using for a motorcycle to go between the wheel spokes. If using for a bicycle you may want to get a longer chain.
Good and Tough March 23, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good tough chain. Easy to lock and doesn't scrape up my bike. My only complaint is that it's a bit too short. It kinda limits where I can lock up my bike.
Difficult to lock February 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although this product is heavy and does its job, trying to lock the chain is very difficult. The lock itself recedes all the way back, making it very awkward to loop the lock onto the chain. Its very frustrating to try to hold the heavy chain links together with one hand and try to lock it with the other while turning the key.
cute bike chain December 12, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
It is a cute bike chain, but it is too short chain bike in a lot of things ( 2 feet and half or 32 inch). I can only chain my bike in two things with it that is street parking sign pole or bike parking area.
I had better chain than this, and it was broken , and I was shocked. I'm happy with it because it Intimidation amateur thief, so they move on to an easier bike.
