5 out of 5 stars Solid !!   December 12, 2007
I've never had a problem with Alignment or it "jarring loose" if you hit a pothole or something like that. The light flashes to let you know it's reading the magnet on the spokes, but only temporarily (first 50 revolutions or something like that).

There is some interference with power lines sometimes, but its any easy correction on the software ("Error Correction" on the graph).

5 out of 5 stars works good   May 28, 2007

Have put over 800 miles on this sensor with no problems. No interferance, good signal. Cool little light flashes when the magnet goes by. Looks nice on the bike. I have one on my mountain bike too, and it holds up fine to some good poundings, including a recent race. Have also ridden through some may showers with no problems.

3 out of 5 stars Needs To Be More Sensitive And Powerful   May 26, 2005

I've got a few years of experience with the Polar bike speed sensor. It works OK, but if it had a stronger signal I'd like it better. You have to make sure it stays in proper alignment and it doesn't take a big bump in the road to knock it out. If you use the auto start/stop feature on your Polar watch and the speed sensor goes south, it ends acquisition of your worlout data. For the price you pay, you deserve a better product.
