 Iron Horse Disc Brake Bike Owner November 5, 2008
I own an Iron Horse Warrior series bicycle. This bike rake will not fit on that line of bikes. The squarish threaded hole in on the bike rake does not fit in the space allowed on a Iron Horse Warrior bike. Find your disc brake bike rack somewhere else. Other companies make compatible bike racks.

This product works well with my bike that has disc brakes. It was hard to find a rack for this type of brakes. I did have to alter the installation by removing extra screw on brakes and then using supplied screw to replace from opposite side.
As Good as It Gets September 19, 2008
We put this same rack on each of our mountain bikes. It went on in about 15 minutes. Very strong system and I recommend one of the Topeak snap in bags to go a long with the rack. Make sure to order the one without the retention spring if you plan on getting the bag to go with the rack.

Topeak Explorer Bicycle Rack with Disc Brake Mounts
I mounted this rack on a Salsa Dos Niner (29er) softail large frame w/disc brakes. Since the frame is a softail I had to modify the attachment points by using additional padded clamps between the rack & seatstays but I expected that. It fit better than I expected with the 29" wheels & 2.1 tires I've got mounted, just about 1" clearance. I wa eve able to attach a blinky light (the oval one by Niterider fits well) to the rear attachment point, I recommend using elec zip ties to reinforce the light mount, had one break w/o them.
The down sides are: The tubing is larger diameter than other manufactures racks and not all pannier attachments work w/o modification to ensure secure wobble free fit. Topeak has changed their slide track widths over the years so older rack trunks will not work w/current track system. Lastly, I can not use my BOB trailer w/the rack attached, it blocks the BOB Nutz so the trailer swingarm can not be connected, this was the biggest negitive because I'd like to tour with a rack & the BOB. Other disc frame mounts such as the Releigh Sojourn will not have this problem
