MTX Panniers November 19, 2008
Everything fits and works great the only thing I would change on these is the middle supports are made of plastic. I have not had any problems with them as of yet and have packed in 20lbs worth of texts books in the pannier bags though I would feel more confident if these were aluminum or steel.

I bought this to mount on my MTX bike rack. I have the MTX EXP dual side pannier bag. The side rails of course ensure that my panniers do not rub against my tire. This just completed the set. Now when we go Rail Trail riding I can relax knowing the side bags won't get into my tire. Thanks for such an EXELLENT Product.

Easy to install, nice to have added protection for the paniers... as I still can't be sure little one with me won't cause some type of mishap that could cause issues!

When I bought this on-line I bout it with a pannier bag and rack. This side frame is a little too large for the bag that typically comes for the rack I got it for. The other thing is the beam rack comes with a side frame that is the perfect size for the bag. Unless you have a pannier bag with larger saddle bags, you don't need this frame.
