 Be cautious if you have a spoiler November 10, 2008
Although the description says it fits most spoilers, this rack did not fit over the spoilers on an '02 Mustang or '05 RX8. I would guess that if you have a somewhat larger spoiler such as those on sports cars, this rack won't fit. I can say that the Saris Sentinel rack I ended up buying fits both cars. Aside from the fit issue, the rack seemed sturdy enough and easy to install, but again I never got to try it out myself.

We returned this bike rack because of two major problems. First of all, the box says it fits a Toyota Prius, but is very wobbly and seems to put damaging pressue on the spoiler and other parts of back of the car. Secondly, my adult bike fits, but my wifes female model does not, nor does my sons mountain bike. The arms of the rack simply are not adjustable and do not fit all bikes.
The quality of the rack seems good for the price. It might work well in some cases, just not for our needs.

I love the metal construction. It's very solid. Holds a mountain bike and a road bike without any problems at all. Set up and take down is quick because of the way it folds up.

This is a very well built product. I just bought a new bike to do triathlons and I needed something to haul my bike around. I'm pleased with my purchase. It fit my Pontiac Bonneville with a spoiler perfectly.

The rack took about 10 minutes for initial set up and is quite sturdy. It also folds down small enough to store in my trunk without taking up much space. I have not yet had 2 bikes on the rack, but it is very stable with one. It also seems to have much better "padding" in the areas that rest on the car than the cheaper rakes that I have seen. After purchasing several other racks that would not accommodate my bike's frame (15" men's trek), I was relieved when my bike fit without a problem. It would be helpful if Amazon included a link to the list of vehicles that the rack fits. I had to spend a good amount of time searching various other websites to ensure the rack would fit my car (Toyota Avalon).
