Product Description By combining nine essential tools with a powerful C02 inflator, the Blackburn AirFix CO2 Inflator and Multi-tool puts everything you need in the palm of your hand. The inflator on the AirFix has a built-in pressure regulator that allows you to control the rate of inflation, and a safety switch that keeps it from firing accidentally. The multi-tool portion of the AirFix features a chain tool, steel-core tire lever, and torx T-25 wrench. This unit also features 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm hex keys, and Phillips and Flathead screwdrivers. The inflator if compatible with 16-gram Blackburn or Innovations threadless cartridges, one of which is included, and is capable of filling a 700c road tire to 125psi, or a 26-inch MTB tire to 40psi. The AirFix has a Presta/Schrader-compatible head, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. About Blackburn In 1975, Jim Blackburn set out to design stronger, lighter, more innovative and more reliable cycling products. The first were bags and racks designed for touring. From there, Blackburn grew. Over the next 30 years, Blackburn's spark of innovation would lead to many revolutionary products, like the first high quality aircraft aluminum rack, the first dual stroke minipump, the first oversized mountain minipump and the first dual stage/dual stroke floorpump just to name a few. For 2005, Blackburn's creative spark is burning brighter than ever. And as we head into our 30th year, Blackburn is re-dedicated to designing smart, reliable, no nonsense accessories that are essential to your riding experience.

Wow you can tell who pays him....Blackburn May 20, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ever since I bought this inflator I have never even got the chance to weigh in the options of the attached parts. It didn't do its original purpose of inflating tires. The poor plastic threads came apart after two or three C02 cartridges. Then the theads didn't line up and the inflator would puncture the 16 gram cartridge before it sealed. Don't be fooled find another inflator.
Well-constructed and clever multi-tool April 12, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
A friend who is a successful competition mountain bike rider asked me to weigh the Blackburn Airfix after I bought it. He has had many occasions where his chain has broken, or his tires have punctured, so he wanted to compare the weight of the Blackburn versus the weight of all the individual tools he carried when he rides. The Airfix weighed in at about 245 grams - about 8 ounces - and his tools, including inflator, tire levers, hex wrenches and chain tool (all included in the airfix) tipped the scales at 337 grams - about 11 ounces. I suppose that a multitool may not be as convenient to use as individual tools, but for handiness, this seems hard to beat. The Blackburn lifetime/no-questions-asked guarantee is also very attractive. So while I have yet had to put this tool into action with either my Trek 2200zr or my Trek 6000, in a world where every ounce of weight is a heavy concern, pardon the pun, I imagine I have made a wise purchase.
