Sufficient volume for multiple showers. Great for backpacking and personal use. Also great for washing dishes. Strong handle for easy hanging and carrying. Handy on/off valve connected to shower head.

5 out of 5 stars Best on/off valve   September 6, 2008
Most of these bags seem to be about the same except for the control valve. Some have valves up at the point where the hose leaves the bag; that's not nearly as convenient as having the valve at the end of the nozzle, where you just pull/push to turn it on/off. This bag has that better type of valve.

5 out of 5 stars Ready for a hot shower   September 5, 2008
We have two of these and use them often. I fill it up, lay it on the picnic table and when we get back from a day of hiking and getting dirty we all have nice hot showers waiting.
the only problem is that the hose gets a kink in it and the valve is a bit cheesy, but to have a nice hot shower in the middle of nowhere is worth fighting the valve

5 out of 5 stars Must-Have for Camping   August 1, 2008
In just a couple of hours the water was hot - if we left it in the sun all afternoon, it would have to be cooled down by adding more water before we could use it. My husband had a hard time filling it (we used lake water)but I would just swirl it around in the lake, holding the fill valve open, and had no problem getting it full. It did take a couple minutes of standing in the lake, though. I was very happy with the shower for the money I spent. I would like a nozzle that could be opened and closed with one hand. This nozzle required two hands to shut the water off. I loved being clean before I got into my tent at night. Your feet always get dirty walking back from the lake.

1 out of 5 stars SPLIT AT THE SEEM   July 20, 2008

It was split at the seem and I was not able to use it even once. Low quality. Seemed like it would be good.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect when scuba diving   April 27, 2008

This is the cheapest, most effective accessory we've ever purchased for scuba diving. Here in New England, the wet suit season starts with the ocean colder than 50 degrees. We tried the shower out last Sunday. Although our first dive was short (not giving the shower much time to warm up) the difference it made in our comfort between dives was amazing!

The tank is simple to fill and transport, and the pull on/push off shower head is easy to manipulate. While the shower can be hung by its handle, we just rested it on the roof of the truck for both heating and using (with a towel underneath as a precaution, in case the roof got hot enough to soften the plastic). Note: Make sure the vehicle windows are closed BEFORE opening the shower head! :-)
