Lack of Quality December 6, 2008 The included carrying case is an eyesore since it is labeled on two sides which is not obvious form the product picture.
The chop sticks themselves are VERY light. Unfortunately they are not even symmetrical. Various differences in manufacturing are easily noticeable and greatly detract from their look.
They are also a bit slippery and may not be a good choice for certain food types.
Easy and Sleek October 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got tired of asking for chopsticks while dining, so I decided to get my own. These fit in their own case and the case has a pen-like clip that makes it easy to find in purses or attaches like a pen in pockets. Stainless steel cleans easily and they are of a comfortable weight. Fitting them back in the case is easy after a couple of times.
bought as a gift... October 6, 2008 these are viable as utensils but a little cheaper than I had hoped. I will be buying nicer quality ones to replace these...
Average chopsticks July 28, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got these as a gift for one of my groomsmen who travels a lot and loves Japanese food. I was hoping the presentation would be better for these, but you get what you pay for. They come in a plastic case (it's not steel like it may look in the picture), and the case comes free floating in the Amazon box (I expected the case to come in some form of box that I could wrap, but had to find a gift box instead). The sticks themselves are a good weight and solid stainless steel. There's really nothing fancy about them, and I went to an engraving shop and paid $20 to get his initials engraved on them, so I essentially paid twice the price of the chopsticks just to personalize them. Still, my friend seemed to like them and I hope he will use them in his travels. I was going to give two stars for presentation, but I'll give three because the price is right.
for $9 and made in china; not worthy of July 16, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased 3 of them; one has dent; one is too tight to close the top; it is not made in Japan, it is made in china... Not recommend
