I've found plenty of use for my Jetboil in the year I've had it. I accompanied my purchase with the pan, and most importantly the coffee press! Don't forget the COFFEE PRESS!! Although the jetboil setup isn't the lightest weight, it's a self containing kit (Jetboil fuel canister and burner fits perfectly in cup). Larger fuel canisters can work with the Jetboil canisters if you're not in travel mode too (Coleman, MSR, etc..)
Living in a travel trailer for the past year, my Jetboil has been the mainstay of my cooking utensil repertoire.
Impress your old fashioned Whisperlite friends with the expeditious boiling capability.
