Product Description Get 360 degrees of nightlight for your campsite. A steel mesh globe protects your mantle offering extra durability for packing with no glass to break. Expect about 8.5 hours of burn time on one can of Bruntane fuel. Throw it in the included stuff sack and hit the trail for an overnighter.
Amazon.com Product Description Illuminate your campsite with 360 degrees of night light with the Brunton Lucy backpacking lantern. The Lucy, which weighs a mere 5.8 ounces and fits inside a handy stuff sack, offers a brightness rating of 65 watts/27 candlepower--more than enough for reading, cooking, or playing cards in the tent. Meanwhile, the lantern's steel mesh globe is glass-free, so it not only protects your mantle, but won't break during the packing process. Best of all, the Lucy offers roughly 8.5 hours of consecutive burn time on a single can of isobutane fuel, so you needn't worry about losing your only light source after a couple of hours of darkness. The Lucy, which comes with two mantles in addition to the stuff sack, measures 4.5 by 2.6 inches and is backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box? Lucy lantern, two mantles, stuff sack, user's manual

Lucy is a sweetheart August 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had the Lucy for a couple years now. It works well, but do not expect a lot of light out of it. It gives enough light for a few people in a campsite, but do not expect the same output of a double mantle dual fuel Coleman. Part of the reason for this is the lack of a glass globe. The Lucy uses a steel mesh. If it gets damaged just bend it! Can't do that with glass. But glass does transmit more light...
I gave it 4 stars not for the output, but rather the rust. The top of mine has a bunch of surface rust. Not a big deal, but for this much money, it should look great for many years.
