Does not fit 9922 Series stove October 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Coleman Stove Carry Case I agree with the other reviewer: This Coleman case was identified in its description to fit the Coleman 9922 series stoves. It does not fit the 9922-A53 grill stove. I was barely able to fit it in the bag. it will not close and approx 1/2" inch of the knobs protrude pass the bag. Since Coleman makes various 9922 models in their series they should be more specific in identifying which one this bag will cover. I should have focused on the reviews vice the coleman description provided by Amazon. Buyer beware. Also...a lesson learned...hang onto your original packaging...I didn't and can't return the item.
It's too small! September 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What were the engineers thinking? This is the one of the worst items I've ever purchased anywhere/anytime. The stove barely squeezes into the bag and forget about even attempting to zip it up. Imagine a XXL guy trying to squeeze into a S teeshirt...not happening. Awful product.
Durable cover has lasted over 10 years July 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This case has outlasted 2 stoves. I like the durable vinyl material and sturdy zipper. I think canvas or nylon would get dirty and rip easily. The fit is snug for the intended models like our 5433, but it's roomy enough that we keep the propane hose in the bag with the stove.
Great idea, poorly executed March 26, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Not sure if there's an alternative to this case, but I bought this one because it was made by Coleman, and I trust their products from past experience. I have two complaints- the material it's constructed from is a heavy vinyl, when a thinner, lighterweight canvas or nylon material would have been better suited. Also, the fit was so tight around the stove that it took a couple of minutes just to get the stove inside and zipped up. This reason alone nearly negates the convenience of having a carrying case altogether.
