Amazon.com Product Description From the renowned company that created the Swiss Army knife a century ago comes this three-pack set of the classic version of the pocket knife. Each Classic contains six tools that put life in order again when they're needed. Measuring just 2-1/4 inches long--less than a pack of gum--and sheathed in red plastic, the Classic pocket knife is a toolbox and manicure kit small enough to fit into a pocket. (It also comes with a key ring.) Stainless-steel tools contained inside are a knife blade, scissors, a nail file with a screwdriver tip, a removable plastic toothpick, and removable tweezers. Great for gift giving, this set includes a pink, red edelweiss, and black Swiss Army Classic. About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.

Good value. December 26, 2008 I like having one of these small knives in my purse. Scissors are so useful.
Everybody needs a Swiss Army knife! December 15, 2008 Swiss Army knives in pretty colors. Stocking stuffers for my daughters. How can you live without one?
Great Mothers' Day gifts September 23, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a couple sets of these knives at Mothers Day. I gave either a knife or reusable shopping bags as "grab bag" gifts for my "Mom" relatives. A small pocket knife is not something most women would purchase for themselves. The knives went faster than the shopping bags. They're small enough and have the right tools for a mom on the go.
great stocking stuffers January 12, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful

Great set of Swiss knives- perfect for stocking stuffers. So practical and easy to drop into your purse or pocket and have ready for any quick need. I was given one last year and when I saw this great deal, I couldn't wait to share! The three colors make them versatile for anyone.
