Awesome! January 5, 2009 First time in years I was able to go camping, shower later in the day, and go to sleep in a tent with that fresh clean feeling. The water was really warm after a day of baking in the sun. It also makes convincing the girl friend to go camping much easier! She's happy, so I'm happy.
Life Saver November 2, 2008 If you tent camp but you don't have facilities this is a must. I baught the shower that came with a 5 gallon bottle (also from amazon) but added this second bag. Having two bags is a must at this price.
Great buy and price.
Coleman 5 gallon PVC camp shower October 12, 2008 I hung the camp shower up and within two days it came apart near the top. I have an older shower that has lasted for 3 years. I am not very impressed with the quality of the workmanship of this item.
Horrible, broke first day I used it. September 17, 2008 I would never buy one of these again. It seemed sturdy til it fell from about 3 1/2 feet & popped. It was the FIRST time I used it. Not good.
Great product September 16, 2008 Because of reviews complaining of splitting and leaking, I bought two of these. I figured each one would work for a week and then be "retired". To my surprise I'm stilling using my first bag after well over 30 days of use. I generally don't fill it with more then 3-4 gallons of water at a time which may be helping its longevity.
We use this as a kitchen faucet while out in the woods and it works great. For people expecting piping hot showers from this - it takes several hours of DIRECT sunlight with the bag perpendicular to the solar rays to truly get HOT. That means at noon the bag should be laying on the ground with a towel under it to help insulate it. In the morning and evenings it should be hung vertical, and the rest of the day it should be propped up at a 45 degree angle. Also don't expect it to be any warmer then the outside temperature on cloudy or overcast days. I think some of the reviews regarding how poorly it heats the water are due to overly high expectations.
