I purchased this flashlight to add to my ghost hunting kit. I am happy that I did, since it has proved to be sturdy, with long battery life. I use the red lens for night vision while investigating in the dark. When I need a dependable bright flashlight, I just pop the lens off. The price is affordable, especially since I didn't have to purchase a separate accessory kit to get the red lens.

Awesome flashlight. I bought it over a year ago everything still works and looks perfect. The Brightest and Best Flashlight i have ever used hands down. Great feel and design
 Cheap, Poor Design October 1, 2008
This is a poorly constructed flashlight. The beam is hard to control and casts a vivid rainbow at anything you point it at. Those $3.00 bargain LED's run circles around this piece of junk. The lens even looks awful. Stay away.

This is a great flashlight.
Strength: durablea aluminum body, bright, small, belt holster, seemingly eternal battery life...
weakness: the beam is too narrow-focused, a bit heavy
Overall solid and dependable flishlight.
A Great LED Flashlight June 19, 2008
This is a great flashlight. I use the red filter for the nights I am out with my telescope to help preserve my night vision. It is a little too bright, even with the filter, so I might add another filter to the red filter to darken things a bit. This flashlight is super bright if you take the filters off. I liked it so much I bought one for my Dad.
